Peter is best known as the voice of Sovereign and others in Mass Effect, the voice of Miraak, the primary antagonist of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn DLC, Albert Wesker in Resident Evil (2002), and the voice of Paladin Danse from the video game Fallout 4.

Additional video game roles Peter has performed include the male exo player character in Destiny 2, Masao Igarashi in Lost Judgment, Al Capone in Empire of Sin, Monsieur Mallah, Red Tornado, Steppenwolf, and Two-Face in Lego DC Super-Villains, Arms Master Harlan in World of Warcraft: Mists of Panderia, Conrad in Warhammer Online, Balthazar in Guild Wars 2, Chesith and Daroth in Mass Effect 2, Valendrian, Lord Ronus Dace, Paivel, and numerous other characters in Dragon Age: Origins, B.J.
